Cross Roads Christian Community Trust began in March 1993 with a Counselling Centre in Wellington, which operated for 16 years. In 1999 the Trust began the FreedomLife Residential Addictions Programme at Te Nikau, in Paraparaumu, on the Kapiti Coast.
